Questions
I recently learned that my ten year-old nephew is grappling with the question that I myself, several decades on, have been living with, yet once again…
What is the purpose of humanity here on Earth?
Perhaps you, too, have engaged in this inquiry at some point? An ageless, timeless touchstone to return to time and again for perspective and perhaps even course correction.
Living with questions has become my practice as of late. Courageously inviting in curiosity, and opening to varying perspectives and vast possibilities; creating opportunities to experience life again, as if through the eyes of a child, with awe and wonder.
As questions beget questions, we find ourselves journeying deeper and deeper within. Endeavoring to look directly into the layers of beliefs, habits, mental patterns, and triggers that we have gathered throughout our lives, to understand what is unconsciously guiding us in our embodied experience.
Returning to Self.
Remembering the Truth of who we are.
Perhaps then, with a newfound clarity, we will begin to live into answers.
For now, I offer to you one of my cherished quotes for navigating this space, as an invitation to you, my fellow journeyers:
“Be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves, like locked rooms and like books that are now written in a very foreign tongue. Do not now seek the answers, which cannot be given you because you would not be able to live them. And the point is, to live everything. Live the questions now. Perhaps you will then gradually, without noticing it, live along some distant day into the answer.” ~ Rainer Maria Rilke
I am here for you and your inner journeying...
Many blessings, Gigi
